Spot the Signs and Save a life training is a fully funded 3 hour webinar for voluntary and public sector employees in Hertfordshire.

About this Event

Spot the Signs and Save a life training is a fully funded 3 hour webinar session available to voluntary and public sector employees within Hertfordshire who work with adults.

The training will:

Increase awareness and knowledge

Make you feel more confident in spotting the signs of someone feeling suicidal

Introduce practical steps about what actions you may take if you notice someone is distressed

The training uses experiential learning methods such as:

• Discussion

• Case studies

• Videos

Joining the webinar: You will be provided with a joining link for the webinar upon booking onto the event, followed by reminders including joining instructions as the event nears

Cancellations: Please inform us if you are unable to attend the training session, failure to do so on more than one occasion will prevent from further bookings. This can be done through Eventbrite or emailing the below contact

The Stay Alive App, developed by Grass Roots is now available in Hertfordshire. It has tools to help keep people safe in times of crisis and details of the emergency or support services to contact in Hertfordshire. You can use it if you are experiencing difficulties with your mental health or having thoughts of suicide, or if you are concerned about someone else who may be considering suicide.
