Do you run a small* community group?
Do you want to know how to start a community group?
Our Small Group Development Worker can help you with:

*any community group with no paid staff and an annual income of less then £30,000.
Here are some comments from community groups we have helped:
Lemsford Youth Football Club
“Isobel’s help has been brilliant. The Lemsford Youth F.C. has never had that kind of funding before, we’ve always had to do things on a shoestring and do our own fundraising. If we hadn’t had the £2860 grant we couldn’t had paid the coaching costs and if the training hadn’t been done we wouldn’t be a Charter standard club now and be able to attract so many people and their children to the club.”
No 1 Hatfield Job Club
“Isobel has worked with us from the beginning to partnership work and develop our Job Club at No 1 Hatfield Community Resource Centre. She has helped us to recruit volunteers and ensure we have all the things in place we need to be able to apply for funding. This resulted in successful start up grants of £2,000 . It has been really successful – we have been totally oversubscribed! Word is out in the community, and more people continue to come every week!”
