Our Partners

We have undertaken a variety of projects with some very high profile partners over the years which has allowed us to deliver our projects successfully. We continue to build on this success with our ongoing commitment to work closely with our private and public sector partners to provide the best level of service we can to our community.

Herts Volunteer Centre

The Herts CVS Group and the Herts Volunteer Centre is our most robust and continued partnership to date.

National Lottery

Over the years we have bid for funding collectively where the emphasis has been countywide projects. There has been the long and lengthy Volunteer Accreditation which has been a team effort and particularly a good example for us as an unfunded Volunteer Centre and recently a Lottery Bid through Volunteer England.

Hertfordshire Community Foundation

Our partnership with the Herts Community Foundation led to the Grassroots grants scheme and the BASIS 2 initiative.

BT

BT – a one year secondment from BT that provided us with a full time worker for the Volunteer Centre.

Community Development Agency (CDA)

The development of a Voluntary Sector Forum.

NHS

Our Voluntary Community Transport Scheme is part funded by the NHS   Herts County Council and Welwyn Hatfield Council as well as by our own fundraising initiatives. It has successfully provided a vital transport service to vulnerable members of our communnity for several years and thanks to the ongoing commitment of our dedicated volunteers drivers   it will continue to provide this service.

Welwyn Hatfield Council

We are part funded by Wewlwyn Hatfield Council and we continue to work closely together to improve the quality of life and improve the life chances of vulnerable community members living and working in Welwyn and Hatfield.
