The Welwyn Hatfield community and voluntary services has recently accepted donations from a local store of a national decorating business and a county wide service.
Thank you Dulux Decorator Centre in Welwyn Garden City for the amazing selection of surplus paints you have recently donated to us towards the decoration of local community amenities.
We know many local small charities and community halls will jump at the chance to receive a tin to spouse interior areas needing a fresh coat of paint.
We would like to thank Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) for their donation of laptops to support our Staying Connected – digital inclusion project in partnership with Community Help Hertfordshire.
These laptops will be reconditioned and disseminated back into the community with one of our trained Digital Champion volunteers on hand to provide 1:1 telephone or face to face support.
The volunteer Champions, help to set up users and show them the basic skills needed to access online services but also build their confidence using technology that is new to them.
We are extremely grateful for their support and look forward to working with them more in the future.
