We recruit and place volunteers, matching the needs of both for skills, experience, and opportunity to work in the community. Please see the Volunteer Bureau's own page.

Funding

Funder Finder is a software package accesses a database of information to help identify trust funds for groups and individuals in need (pages printed at a charge of 10p per sheet).

There is also a document listing trusts and grant-aided bodies who may fund a project - download it from here.

Futurebuilders is a unique government-backed fund with £215m to invest in third sector organisations delivering public services.

Investment packages start at £50,000. But, there is no such thing as a standard Futurebuilders investment. A loan will always be part of any investment but they are often combined with grants and professional support to help build the capacity of organisations preparing to contract with public sector bodies. Every package is tailored to the needs of the organisation and no two investments are the same. Look at their website here.

The i10 Website contains a list of resources for voluntary and community organisations; click here to access it.
