Our new Herts VCSE Training Forum, has been launched to support the training, learning and development community. This forum will give you an opportunity to network with peers, share innovative ideas and to work together as a community to discuss problems and find solutions within the sector. Each quarterly meeting will focus on a relevant topic in relation to the development of the VCSE training community. Each session will be introduced by a guest speaker in the discussion topic field, followed by facilitated discussion amongst you and your peers on the topic at hand. HAPpy Holiday Activity Programme

Grants are available to deliver activities with food in the Summer holidays to children aged 5-16 with those in receipt of free school meals eligible for free. The HAPpy programme is supported by Hertfordshire County Council, funded by the Department for Education and coordinated by the Herts Sports Partnership. We are seeking to fund a diverse range of projects and enrichment activities which are attractive and engaging for all ages and abilities of school children and include physical activity and nutritious food.  The fund is open to the voluntary sector, schools, youth clubs, statutory and private providers who can meet the charitable objectives of the programme.  You can apply for grants to support the provision of activities for four hours a day, up to four days a week throughout a four week period during the school summer holiday ie up to 16 x four hour days between 26 July and 27

Online Parent & Guardian Awareness Sessions

On 3rd February Welwyn Hatfield Community Safety Partnership at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council are hosting awareness sessions for parents and guardians in Welwyn Hatfield. These session have only been made possible through the funding provided by Hertfordshire Community Foundation. Though the sessions are aimed at parents/guardians they may also be useful for youth professionals to attend and/or any other interested parties.
