It has been yet another fantastic month for the Welwyn Hatfield CVS Community Car Scheme. There were a lot of medical appointments for clients in the lead up to the festive period and some super feedback.
Congratulations to the volunteers and staff for covering a large amount of appointments last month. They met the huge demand for assistance with: Attending medical appointments Meetings with support services Visits to sick relatives and friends Shopping assistance Great service and happy clients. We’d like to say a big thank you on behalf of our clients for this thoughtful and lovely donation of Easter Gifts organised by Angela Baker-Croft and her team at Waitrose in Welwyn Garden City. W Angela has been one of our volunteers since the 1st lockdown, supporting some of our clients with shopping, prescription collections and befriending. She has provided tremendous support to the organisation and extended this through her usual routine at Waitrose. We were blown away by their generosity and kindness. The gifts were delivered during the Easter weekend to our clients at the Welwyn Hatfield Community and Voluntary Service, some of the clients at Potential Kids and children doing great community service in the Borough; they were very surprised and delighted. The little litter pickers were doing an amazing job at tidying up Ridgeway in Welwyn Garden City. One of them even asked for a litter
