  • Micro-blogging – An introduction to Twitter, some tips, tricks and tools you can use to make tweeting easier.
  • Blogging – An introduction to Blogging, some tips, hints and tools that are available to help you blog and engage with your audience
  • Video Sharing - How to distribute videos online, share images of your work and events to show supporters and funders what you have been up to.
  • Photo Sharing – How to distribute photos online, share images of your work and events to show supporters and funders what you have been up to

Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers 23 February, Hemel Hempstead

This one day course explores the challenges of recruiting, retaining and managing volunteers. The course is ideal for staff and volunteers who manage volunteers.  It will cost £20 for charitable organisations and £35 for statutory bodies on Thursday 23 February 2012.

Hertfordshire Training & Development Consortium (HTDC)

HTDC is a managed network of third sector organisations, statutory agencies, further education colleges, training companies and independent trainers under Hertfordshire Community Foundation as lead body.

HTDC exists to provide workforce development and capacity-building for the voluntary sector and to develop partnership working between third sector organisations and other providers of community training in order to maximise access to learning opportunities within the most disadvantaged groups and wards in the county.
