Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills and extend your network of friends or colleagues. Both of these count when it comes to finding a new job. Whether you're starting out in the workplace, fancy a change of career direction or are retired, volunteering can be a good way of gaining relevant experience.

Employee Volunteering refers to employees who participate in voluntary activities through their workplace. The Volunteer Bureau will work with companies to set up volunteering projects which will benefit employers, employees and the community as a whole.
