Herts VCSE training forum: NEW for 2021/22

Our new Herts VCSE Training Forum, has been launched to support the training, learning and development community. This forum will give you an opportunity to network with peers, share innovative ideas and to work together as a community to discuss problems and find solutions within the sector. Each quarterly meeting will focus on a relevant topic in relation to the development of the VCSE training community. Each session will be introduced by a guest speaker in the discussion topic field, followed by facilitated discussion amongst you and your peers on the topic at hand. UKCF has just launched a fund specifically for B.A.M.E. led infrastructure organisations to help more B.A.M.E. groups access Coronavirus Crisis funds from their local Community Foundations (including HCF) It is for grants from 5k to 20k to be spent within three months.  They have made 250k available initially, but more funding may become available Please do share this with your team and members and relevant contacts – the funding is available now and groups apply direct to UKCF on the UK Community Foundations Website  – the link straight to the relevant page is here We have also put a link on the HCF website on the grants available page – so it should be easy to find.

VCS WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT GRANTS The 2016-17 programme is now open for applications. This scheme is funded by Hertfordshire County Council and managed by HCF Training and Development. Voluntary and community organisations delivering adult social care can apply for up to £2,000 to fund the learning and development needs of their workforce or to develop their own capacity to deliver training. We are initially prioritising organisations that did not receive grants in the last 2 years. Organisations wishing to apply will also benefit from meeting with one of HCF’s team of qualified advisors who will conduct an organisational needs analysis and support your application.
