It’s an exciting time in our office as we welcome Mustafa into our team as a new volunteer Administrator. Mustafa went through the process of registering online, selecting his attributes, discussing his interests with our Manager Nicola and was quickly place once his DBS check had been received.
He wanted to donate his time and energy to our one of our projects which we greatly appreciated, and we are excited to have him on board. Read more…

This month, we said goodbye to Julie one of the office volunteer working on the Community Car Scheme Project. For a little over a year, Julie worked in a team of 5 volunteer administrators helping to book car scheme journeys for our customers who find is difficult to use public transport due to medical needs. Eve has been an integral part of our community. With us at the Welwyn Hatfield CVS, her journey as a volunteer began back in the early 2000s on the “Cards for Good Causes” project. This initiative offered the community the option to support charities by purchasing their Christmas cards which raised funds for worthy causes. Eve’s warm personality shone through as she engaged in deep conversations with our customers, always checked in on everyone’s well-being and offering advice whenever she could.
