Annual cricket match / D-Day beacon
June 6, 2024 @ 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM
OHRA are holding their annual social cricket match of Hatfield residents vs Hatfield Crusaders club on the grass area below Hatfield House on Thursday 6th June starting at 6pm.
Food and drink
There will be a backstreet diner and a small table top bar where spectators can buy food and drink. Alternatively you are welcome to bring your own picnic to this social event on hopefully a nice summer’s evening. You can also bring chairs / rugs etc.
D-Day beacon
At around 8.30pm Hatfield House are lighting the beacon on Georges field to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day and complete the evening’s celebration. Spectators are welcome then to walk over to this.
Access
Georges Gate car park will be open and there will be pedestrian access via Station Lodge and Fore Street (until after the event finishes).
