Chinese New Year – Welcoming the Year of the Dragon

Welcoming the Year of the Dragon.

This two-week celebration signifies the dawn of a fresh Lunar cycle, introducing wood dragon from the Chinese zodiac to symbolise the forthcoming 12 months.

Chinese citizens, their decedents and friends worldwide will be coming together and celebrating

Like many aspects of traditional Chinese culture, the 12 Chinese zodiac animal signs are based on the Chinese lunar calendar, which differs slightly from our Gregorian calendar system www.chinesenewyear.net

Year of the Dragon and what symbolises

It symbolises power, nobility, honour, luck, and success. 2024 is forecasted to bring about opportunities, changes, and challenges.
