|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 11:00 AM on Monday, repeating until December 13, 2021

£3.00
Strength and Balance classes are designed for older adults wanting to improve their strength and balance while learning new exercises to help maintain independence.

The classes are suitable for those who haven’t exercised before or are experiencing a decline in their physical ability. You can exercise at your own pace in a positive environment and meet others in your community who are at a similar ability level.

Beginner/Intermediate Classes last for 45 minutes, Intermediate/Advance Classes last for 1 hour and there is a mixture of standing at seated exercises in both. Classes cost £3 per session.

Please bring some water to stay hydrated and wear suitable clothing and shoes for exercising in. If you are attending the Intermediate/Advanced Class, please bring a mat or towel.

A qualified and knowledgeable instructor will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.
