Introduction to to Smart Ones for 60+

Step 2 Skills and Oakland College have collaborated on a course to show residents of Hertfordshire who are aged 60+ how to use their smart phones.
For absolute beginners and will include:
- Exploring the physical device
- Exploring the touch screen interface and navigation to
- key features i.e control & notification panels
- Adding/ editing contact and emergency numbers
- Basic Settings – screen timeout, font size and security
- Apps – Searching, downloading and deleting
- Connecting to a wifi network
- Understanding the terminology
Suitable for those with Apple and Android devices (except Huawei)
