Keep Britain Tidy runs #LoveParks Week to celebrate and support the efforts of volunteers and workers up and down the country to maintain and protect our green spaces.

It provides a week of action for parks to run events in their local area.

A recent YouGov Survey for Keep Britain Tidy revealed that visiting the park is the highlight of the day for 62% of dog owners, and 62% of parents agreed that it is the highlight of their child’s day too.

What can you do to support your local park? 

The borough has great local spaces with large fields such as Money Hole Park, Stanborough Park and Millwards Park. Why not have a mindfulness walk, a picnic, a group exercise session or a community litter pick.
