Exploring Gender Identity, Diversity and Sexuality
MS TeamsThis course explores gender identity, gender diversity and what it means to be trans or gender non-conforming. Candidates will understand the legislation that supports individuals in the LGBTQi community who experience challenges, specifically those faced by older members of the community.
Strategies for inclusive practice will be discussed along with the importance of language relating to gender and sexuality in supporting this.
