We can offer office and venue equipment for hire to support community projects and help maximise their potential and vehicle rental to improve mobility.
Welwyn Hatfield CVS provides local groups with a range of useful equipment to hire at affordable rates. Some items are even free to our members. - Projector – For use with laptop computers, for professional presentations.

- Laminator – Laminating pockets supplied. A5/A4/A3.

Our office is open Monday – Thursday (10-4pm). Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance. £5 charge will be made for cancellations less than 3 days in advance. Higher charges will apply to statutory organisations. When arranging to collect equipment, please allow extra time for staff to demonstrate the use of the item and to complete a hire agreement form.
WHCVS owns and manages a vehicle with wheelchair accessibility . The vehicle is available for hire by community groups and individuals in Welwyn Hatfield and the surrounding districts. The priority is to cater for the needs of transporting disabled people to health related appointments, however other needs can be considered.
The vehicle can carry up to 5 passengers (plus the driver) in normal seating mode or seats can be removed to accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs with access via a lift. The vehicle is spacious, heated and comfortable, with secure fixings for wheelchairs and a range of other safety equipment.
Hiring the minibus costs depends on the distance travelled plus reimbursement of fuel.
Criteria : drivers over the age of 25, must have held a clean driving licence for 3 years.
