The Welwyn Hatfield CVS are pleased to be involved with this community partnership supporting students at the University of Hertfordshire with food. The Cooprative Food Store in Bishops Rise and Brookman’s Park donate food which is taken to the Community Fridge on Wednesdays and is available to all students. We have been receiving a lot of positive messages about our volunteers from the medical staff and community. We have also heard from our volunteers about their experiences volunteering at vaccination centres and testing sites throughout Hertfordshire.
