Racism Awareness in Practice

An Introduction to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
MS Teams , United KingdomThis course is an awareness level course which introduces the legislative framework for equality and give examples to enable participants to recognise anti-oppressive and anti-discriminatory practice in their own setting. The course clarifies key terminology, provides examples of micro-aggressions, and sets out the short-term and long-term impacts of discrimination. This course is suitable for all staff working across social care.
First Aid – Basic Life Support
Hertfordshire Development Centre Robertson House, 6 Six Hills Way, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, United KingdomThis course is open to all; it will teach you the first link in the chain of survival in adult basic life support (BLS). The syllabus follows the guidelines of the Resuscitation Council (UK) and includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and the DRABCD approach to resuscitation.
