Refugee Week 2024 – Our Home

Refugee Week is a UK-wide festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary.

Through a programme of arts, cultural, sports and educational events alongside media and creative campaigns, Refugee Week enables people from different backgrounds to connect beyond labels, as well as encouraging understanding of why people are displaced, and the challenges they face when seeking safety.

The theme for Refugee Week 2024 is “Our Home”. From the places we gather to share meals, to our collective home, planet earth: everyone is invited to celebrate what our Our Home means to them.

There are many ways to get involved; take a look below at some of the events happening in neighbouring Bedfordshire. You can also find events happening further afield on the Refugee Week events page.
