The Healthwatch Hertfordshire – Blood Pressure Monitoring in Dental Practices Focus Group

The Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is undertaking a pilot of implementing blood pressure monitoring in a selection of dental practices and opticians across Hertfordshire and West Essex. The idea is to increase the detection of hypertension by having blood pressure monitoring available in settings other than GPs and pharmacies. We are holding two focus groups with members of the public to explore their thoughts on having blood pressure monitoring available in dental practices and opticians.  We want to speak to Hertfordshire Residents over the age of 40 who do not have a diagnosis of hypertension. They will be able to attend focus groups on 13 August and 15 August between 6pm and 8pm. Attendees will receive a £10 voucher for contributing to our research. Sign-up Here Alternatively, residents can contact: E: research@healthwatchhertfordshire.co.uk | L01707 275978 to register their place.

Healthwatch Hertfordshire’s and the NHS: Survey Orthodontic Services

Healthwatch Hertfordshire are working with the NHS to improve orthodontic services. They want to hear from parents and carers whose child has had, or is currently having, orthodontic treatment.

They would appreciate if you could share the survey with your friends and family so they can help the NHS to ensure every child and young person receives the care and treatment they need. Find out more…
