It back! The Volunteer Speed Matching event is returning to The Volunteer Centre Welwyn Hatfield and we’re inviting YOU!
On Wednesday, 26th June, Breaks Manor Community Centre will become a hub of fun pitching and community networking at the Volunteer Speed Matching event hosted by the Volunteer Centre Welwyn Hatfield and the Welwyn Hatfield CVS.
It’s Small Charity Week 2024, and what better way to celebrate than by connecting you with local charities, non-profit organisations, and community groups that need your help.
You might be wondering, what exactly is Volunteer Speed Matching?
Well, think of it as speed dating, but instead of finding a romantic partner, you’re looking for and finding your perfect volunteering match with a cause you like! It’s a fun interactive and entertaining recruitment drive.
At the event, you’ll have the chance to chat with various organisations, learn about their causes, and explore the volunteering opportunities they offer. It’s like window shopping for a cause you’re passionate about!
Each station will give you a sneak peek into the organisation’s mission, the tasks involved, and what they’re looking for in volunteers. And don’t worry, it’s all laid-back and informal—just a friendly chat to see if you’re a match.
