Some activities include, PE with Joe Wicks, Pilates, Yoga, Dance sessions and couch to 5k.
There will also be some live sessions taking place with an instructor via Zoom which include:
Weight Train session – Wednesday 17 June 2pm
Grab your hand weights or filled water bottles and learn some great exercises for toning your muscles. No experience necessary. No getting on the floor. All abilities welcome.
Strength and balance class (targeted at older adults) – Friday 19 June 10am
Are you feeling less steady on your feet these days? Do you worry about falling? This 30 minute class will show you some exercises to strengthen the leg and hip muscles and some stationary balance exercises. Please have a safe space to exercise, with no trip hazards, wear enclosed shoes and have a good sturdy chair to hold onto if need be, and to sit if you need to rest (dining chairs are ideal). There is no getting on the floor during this session.
If you work with any residents in the borough who would be interested in taking part in the live classes please follow @WelHatSports on Twitter and visit www.welhatsports.org.uk/events for more information and contact details.
