WHCVS owns and manages two fully equipped wheelchair accessible people carriers . The vehicles are available for hire by community groups and individuals in Welwyn Hatfield and the surrounding districts. The priority is to cater for the needs of transporting disabled people to health related appointments, however other needs can be considered.

The vehicle can carry up to 5 passengers (plus the driver) in normal seating mode or seats can be removed to accommodate up to 2 wheelchairs with access via a lift. The vehicle is spacious, heated and comfortable, with secure fixings for wheelchairs and a range of other safety equipment.

Hiring the minibus costs depends on the distance travelled plus reimbursement of fuel.

Criteria : drivers over the age of 25, must have held a clean driving licence for 3 years.
