Carers in Hertfordshire Keep in Touch volunteers reach out to carers, offering support and encouraging them to look after their own wellbeing.
This is a remote role were full support, training and a phone will be provided. Let’s Chat is a telephone support service, which provides regular calls and a friendly chat to people who are isolated. WHCVS are looking for 2-3 volunteers who are willing to chat to some of their lonely residents in the Welwyn Hatfield area on a weekly basis.

Mentor Volunteers
Carers in Hertfordshire run a Volunteer Mentor scheme across the county in which Volunteer Mentors support unpaid family and friend carers. They have been offering this service to carers since 2012 and currently have over 50 mentors in the scheme and are currently recruiting more.
The aim of the scheme is to support carers by helping them feel less isolated, increase social contact, develop their confidence and knowledge about available support.
